Who We Are / What We Do
MISSION: to equip believers for ministry both in the local church and to the world at large, Eph. 4:11 & 12.
VISION: to see Montreal School of Ministry become a world-class Biblical Training Institution
- To do this we have chartered with Chesapeake Bible College & Seminary, Maryland, which is affiliated with and fully accredited by the Oxford Network of Schools & Colleges of Woosley College 1649.
- Montreal School of Ministry is fully accredited by the World-Wide Accreditation Commission of Christian Educational Institutions, 2800 Blendwell Road, Richmond, Va. 23224 [Please note: This body is non-governmental - in other words, our accreditation is not with a governmentally recognized accreditation association. Since we offer only Christian Educational Training we have chosen to not seek governmental accreditation at this time].
- Montreal School of Ministry is an affiliate school of the Evangelical Order of Certified Pastoral Counselors of America, which has over 1500 members across Canada and many more around the world. The EOCPCA operates with federal government letters patent.
- In 2010, MSOM received level I certification with the Church of God, Cleveland, TN.
PHILOSOPHY: is to train the mind and spirit so that God's people will become vibrant soul-winners in the kingdom of God.
- The mind is to be disciplined in the things of God until the "mind of Christ" is ours.
- Spiritual formation is essential - This is the key to ministry as the "Holy Spirit" is the source of this life.
- Only after the mind and the spirit is trained can there be real ministry training.
